Hi friends,

I am back with you today to give you a few tips on storing and freezing bread and dough because I've had so many questions after our artisan bread workshop last weekend about what to do once you bake the bread or what do you do if you want to make some for later.

You can use these tips for the recipe I shared or any gluten free bread. This will extend the life of your breads both the ones you freeze and the ones you store at room temperature. If your bread has a crust that you’d like to keep soft like my gluten free hamburger buns or gluten free sandwich bread you can use an airtight container when storing at room temperature but for breads with a crisp crust airtight containers and plastic ruin the crispiness of the crust!

Oh by the way, if you have too much bread hanging around, why not make fresh croutons?

Happy Baking,

Rachel
