Thanks for sharing your story! I was totally pronouncing your last name wrong in my head, LOL. I'm so glad you were able to get a celiac diagnosis for your son, and I've enjoyed following along with your gluten-free baking adventures!

Thanks Christina!! Fun fact- my last name translates to “cowboy” kind of perfect since we ended up in Kansas City don’t you think? 🤠

I WAS wondering how to pronounce your name!

Haha! Always the first thing I say in a class. Rhymes with door dash and “Ci” says “Ch like ciao or ciabatta bread”

The benefit of a hard to pronounce last name is that I constantly spell it (over the phone, doctors offices, etc) so my kids heard it over and over and knew how to spell their last name by the time they were preschoolers.

Hey Rachel! Thanks for sharing your story. I can really relate, growing up in an allergy family, unclear diagnoses. You are one strong, positive force in the world! I’m always trying to keep my gluten intake on the low side and increase my variety of grains and carbs, so I love your ingenuity, recipes and enthusiasm! It’s contagious!
