This is such a helpful post! I have a box Bionaturae pasta in my cupboard that came with my Cooks box from Bon Appetite - time I get cookin' that pasta to see how great it tastes. Although this one is not gluten free, but I am very happy it is organic.

I am sure it will be! I have decided moving forward only to buy high quality pasta. I've discovered an Italian grocery market nearby and I'm obsessed!

My favorite is the Garofalo brand of GF pasta. I’ll search out Rummo and Bionaturae, but we may have different product availability in Canada!

I really like Garafalo as well!!

I haven't tried the Garofalo and Rummo GFs here yet, but we have them at the regular Italian supermarket. That will be in an upcoming test and post for sure!

Good to know! I might have been looking in smaller stores with less variety, or maybe they're only available in bigger cities?

Thank you for doing that! I love the Rummo pasta but I don't think we get the Bionaturae one in the UK. I've also found some of the UK's own brand gluten free pastas are pretty good. I think the mix of carbs in the ingredients help. I.e so not all rice flour.

I agree - I think the all rice ones never get al dente, they just go straight from uncooked to floppy!

Wow, this was such a good read! I have been a loyal Jovial consumer for a few years now, but I guess it's time I ordered some Bionaturae to try! Thank you.

So helpful, Rachel! We love Taste Republic, too, for fresh pasta, and Bionaturae is top notch.

This is such an amazingly helpful post! The truth is, we don't eat much pasta at out house because the GF pasta is so subpar. I will be looking for Bionaturae for sure! I don't do well with corn, but I'm so glad you did the work and found another option! Thank you!

Thanks for this post! I needed a gluten-free pasta option, and I just don't like the texture of the Banza that I had bought for a recipe.

This is so great! I usually stick with Jovial because it's easy for me to find at the grocery store. I have a love-hate relationship with chickpea pasta - I've had it turn to mush a few times! I recently splurged on Giada's new line of gluten-free pastas (which are made from corn), and I like those a lot.

I need to order some of Giada's pasta so I can try it out!! I think the brands that include corn usually come out really well!!

Yes, I think the corn-based pastas come closest to regular pasta! It was worth the splurge!
