Which Gluten Free Flour is best? Gluten Free Churro Muffin Recipe
This did not go how I thought it would!
Hello Friends,
Today I have something different for you - just for my paid subscribers and I am SO excited about it!! I’ve committed to offering MORE exclusive content for you and I have so many things in the pipeline! Today - I’m saving you cash, frustration and time by testing out 5 popular gluten free flour blends in my gluten free churro muffin recipe (scroll down I’ve included the recipe below). The 5 flours are Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1, King Arthur Measure for Measure, Pamela’s All Purpose Flour Mix, Better Batter Original, Caputo Fioreglut. I used the same recipe with each flour to find out which ones performed best - taste, texture, and rise. There are so many gluten free flour blends out there, it’s hard to know which ones are worth purchasing, and who wants to be left with a big bag of expensive flour they don’t care for? Not me.
Before we get to the good stuff here - Don’t forget I have a contest going for the month of September - any new paid or trial paid subscribers that sign up are entered into a drawing to win my very favorite thermometer. The Thermoworks Thermopop - it’s thunderclap quick and will change your gluten free baking forever! So refer your friends they might win this AWESOME thermometer!! (drawing limited to lower 48 US states- drawing is not sponsored by Thermoworks or anyone else, just me, void where prohibited, no purchase necessary)
Now, back to business, I should let you know, none of these flour brands had ANYTHING to do with this test. I purchased the flours myself (thanks paid subscribers!) and all opinions are my own (and that of my family) and have not been influenced in any way by these companies.
