Hi Friends,
This newsletter is one day earlier than usual - but that’s because TODAY some of these items are on super sale, and being the cost conscious midwesterner that I am, I don’t want you to miss out on the deals. The holidays are heading our way. Your inbox is probably filling up with sales and promotions, but what to give for the gluten free kitchen? What about your newly diagnosed gluten free friend who is just getting into the kitchen to make their first GF holiday treats? What about the family member who makes the special effort? What about for the gourmet whose determined that NOTHING will be off the menu just because the kitchen is now gluten free? I’ve got recommendations for all of them. These are products from mundane to flashy, cheap to pricey that I feel very confident recommending to anyone!
Let’s get started!
Lodge Cast Iron Combo Cooker
This heavy but deep cast iron pot is the perfecct size for a lofty gluten free bread. Since the handle is on the lid you can put the dough on the shallow side and the deep portion on top. It creates just the right amount of steam for perfect crusty breads!
Little GF Chefs Subscription
Do you know a little gluten free person who would LOVE to get in the kitchen? Little GF Chefs has it all figured out! Baking projects sent straight to your house with the gluten free ingredients you need! Not up for the full subscription? Their gf gingerbread house kits are currently available at SPROUTS markets.
Kitchen Scale
This kitchen scale allows you to eliminate gummy middles and sandy desert bakes by freeing you from your measuring cups and spoons. Once you start baking gluten free with a scale, everything you make will be BETTER! This model switches from grams to ounces so you can make any recipe.
Danish Dough Whisk
If you don’t have a stand mixer this is the next best thing - gluten free doughs are thicker and need more mixing than gluten doughs. This dough whisk helps you really get in there and turn out silky baked goods.
Stand Mixer
If you are in need of a BIG present, this is it. A stand mixer really makes whipping out amazing gluten free pastries, cakes, and breads a simpler task. My advice - ditch the dough hook and mix it all with the flat beater - it’s much better for gluten free baking.
Pullman Bread Pan
The high sides and small footprint of this pullman pan make it ideal for gluten free bread dough to “climb up” and maximize the fluffy rise! No more squatty loaves here.
Bench Scraper
The perfect stocking stuffer or hostess gift, this bench scraper makes shaping and moving around soft gluten free doughs a breeze. Not to mention cleaning up once you’re done, mine is indispensable!
Nobody makes thermometers like thermoworks. From the lightening fast Thermapen to the budget wise Thermopop these are the gold standard in kitchen thermometers and will help you know when your bakes are done -not just “look” done. Gamechanger!!
Great Recipes
You can’t have amazing gluten free meals and baked goods without the right recipes, this may be the most crucial part. (Not that I’m biased!!) So just for you friends. This is the BEST sale on newsletter subscriptions I’ve ever run because 20% off yearly subscriptions to Next Level Gluten Free is FOREVER! This includes gift subscriptions too!! Only for a limited time.
Note: Some links may be affiliate links (some are not), You’ll pay the same amount if you click on them but I’ll earn a small commission which will support this work. Also, some are NOT.
What a great list — you've convinced me I need a Danish dough whisk!
Great gift picks! I include the Little GF Chefs baking kits in my gift guide too. And I definitely need to buy a kitchen scale for myself this year!
